St. Stephen Protomartyr
Designed in 1986 by famed Ukrainian-Canadian architect, Radoslav Zuk, St. Stephen Protomartyr Ukrainian Catholic Church offered a unique opportunity due to its fusion of modernist architecture and Ukrainian tradition.

The mosaic iconography our studio designed for the the interior of St. Stephen's was chosen specifically because this medium worked best naturally with the exposed brick walls of the church. Three mosaics installed in the front of the church help to define and delineate the Sanctuary without compromising the desired openness of this specific space. . This was the most important consideration in a church in which the architect withdrew from convention and located a gallery for parishioners behind the Main Altar.
